um if the demo didnt really work to good for me (clicked on it to start demo and it went into game but wen screen turned black it went back to the main windows screen) should i get the full game still?
What are your computer specs? Sure you can buy the game but you should try to find out whats wrong in respect to your PC not being able to start the demo before you attempt to install the full game. Is it a driver issue? Not enough ram? Video card not getting enough power etc ,etc.....
i duno it just closes out

To make an educated guess we will need to see your system specs. Processor,ram,video card....etc...
The demo of this game was released prior to it being in stores, this game was released in stores prior to it being playable, it still isn't perfect but better. Waiting on next patch to smooth some more.
I would say its hard to judge this game from the demo since its not the same game anymore.
All in all this game is a system HOG!

^^^Yep...I love the game. We just need to know what kind of PC you have
i havent change anything on it so its a dell dimension 46000 and plays games that needs good graphics fairly fast without lag

If the link above is your computer, you'll need a better video card and should get at least another 512MB of Memory. The video card you have now is integrated with the system and BF2 will eat that alive. I dunno much about Dells, but if it has an AGP or PCI-E slot, you can get a better video card for relatively cheap. I have an Nvidia 6600 GT and have no troubles running it. You may also need a better power supply unit than the 250watt supply you have.

If all else fails go Start>run then type: msinfo32 and hit enter. Look at the System Summary for processor and memory info and the Components section for display(video) info.

that should be his specs for that machine
I'd say you need more ram for starters at least 1gig and perhaps a 256mb graphics card.. some people have luck on low settings with a 128mb card.

whats your budget and are you wanting the best you can get for it??
If no max spending limit I'd go for a 6800 GT OC AGP card.. they don't make them anymore but ebay and some dealers still have some.. But I wouldn't go any lower than a 6600 at this point. If you do step up to anything from a 6600 and higher you might end up having to upgrade power supply also since larger graphic cards need more juice.
But you need more ram!!! That game is a Memory HOG..so upgrade ram before you do anything else at this point.

Hmm..unknown processor??....that's a problem there.....I believe you need some drivers there bud or an updated bios
edit>>ok ..I read it's a Dell ..have you reformatted recently?? ... you should be able to insert the Resource Cd and install your chipset drivers and you should noticeable improvement ...your still short on memory but i bet it's playable

he needs at least another 512 of memory... everything else is bottlenecked by his ram at this point that I can see.
