TCP options string = 020405ac0103030101010402
MTU = 1492
MTU is optimized for PPoE DSL broadband. If not, consider raising MTU to 1500 for optimal throughput.
MSS = 1452
MSS is optimized for PPPoE DSL broadband. If not, consider raising your MTU value.

Default TCP Receive Window (RWIN) = 98304
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 1 bits (scale factor of 2)
Unscaled TCP Receive Window = 49152

For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
511104 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
255552 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
127776 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
63888 (MSS x 44)
bandwidth * delay product (Note this is not a speed test):

Your TCP Window limits you to: 3932.16 kbps (491.52 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your TCP Window limits you to: 1572.864 kbps (196.608 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
Time to live left = 51 hops

TTL value is ok.
Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 00000000 (0)

You can also make these 3 changes to my ccs file setting to see if they give you better speed:

DefaultSendWindow - 31944
GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize - 31944
TcpWindowSize - 31944

Update

I went to my DSL providers website and this general statement was made:

(Internet providers name) is extremely fast - up to 3Mbps Downstream / 768Kbps Upstream.

Would this change any settings?

Yes, definitely. RWIN settings affect your comp's throughput limit. Setting it too small is like limiting the size of your doorway.

Cablenut settings for 3 Mbps down speed with MTU 1492 need modifications to the following:

DefaultReceiveWindow - 127776
DefaultSendWindow - 63888
GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize - 63888
MaxHashTableSize - 32768
Tcp13230pts - 1
TcpWindowSize - 63888

Update

I email my Internet provider and asked about my modem DSL speed. This was part of their reply:

"Your modem is currently trained at 1024 kbps down. The speed you see on a speedtest may differ slightly. Your modem's upload speed is currently at 768 kbps."

Thank you again for all your help. I will post my results after all the tweaking (hopefully) is finished. :thumb:

For 1024 Kbps down, make the following adjustments in your ccs file:

DefaultReceiveWindow - 63888
DefaultSendWindow - 63888
GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize - 63888
MaxHashTableSize - 32768
Tcp13230pts - 0
TcpWindowSize - 63888
