I live in Phoenix, AZ. and I have had @home srvice with cox for over a year. 1 week ago, I transfered my service to my new place. Anyway, I couldnt get connectivity for days, on the phone with multiple cox@home techs who could not figure out what the problem was. 2 days ago cox called me and told me my node had run out of ip addresses, They then told me I have to wait a day for them to get more. Cox called me that next day to inform me that my apt. is not in the @home service area! WTF are these a**h**** thinking???
They told me all I could get is this BS service they call express, it offers 28.8kbps up and 1.5 mbps down and it is the same price! I now know why they are called cox, All the do is F*** people. Has this happened to anyone else?
