I have aDSL and after doing the above I
tried to listen to this Winamp radio station
that I used to hear perfectly on Win2000 but
now, it took alot more time to buffer it and also it stoped every 5sec to buffer again!
It seems like a "flow" problem to me, but I
don't really know...
I tried all sorts of tweak .reg files but none has improved the condition...
Does anyone has any idea??

Thanks!

I've been on win9x for 4 years... win95. win98SE, winme betas (all!), winme final... all i've used before... I installed win2k a few nights ago, i LOVE it! I started ME and 2k dual boot because ME totally messed my capture card, and even after 10 formats, wouldnt fix it...

Right now I love win2k!!! I see why people say ME sucks! lol :) Well anyway, why are you going to ME, may I ask? I plan to keep 2k as my #1 system, leaving me as stand alone on a dual boot, just incase if I ever have problems I will be able to get in winme, browse the web and trouble shoot my problem...

stick with 2k :) :p   ;)

I know win2k kicks ME's ass big time but I want to get into the audio and midi buisness
and win2k is still not compatible for it.
Apart from that, do you have any idea?

Not to hammer you, but what is going through your mind "2k for ME"! There is prob. a logical answer for why you are switching but after I installed 2k Server I would never go back. I haven't had 2k crash on me yet, and I run 3 servers off it, FTP, web and home internet server. It's just so much better than any OS Microsoft has every built IMHO. Just my .2

win2k is far better the ME, we covered that!
Can anyone focus on my problem(which is not the difference between them!)?
There is a problem, I'm sure, cause the speed difference is quite noticeable.
