Issue when playing C&C Generals on lan

Hello, me and a few friends have tried to get C&C Generals to work over lan, however one of us can´t see the other players in the lobby nor join a game. We have all our firewalls shutted down, and all protocolls installed, so it would be nice if someone could help us out with this little mystery. All of our systems have Win Xp with service pack 2 installed.

can you all ping each other when you are in windows?

Yep. We have played other games on LAN too, and don't have any problems with anything but the C&C Genenrals. The strange thing is that two of us can see everyone, but one of us can't see anyone even though we see him.

Maybe hes got some service disabled or something?

lan or online lan it should only be you and him online make sure your in the same lobby and the games are not moded or if they are both are modded the same

Thanks for your replies guys, we solved it by reinstalling Windows, as he wanted it formated anyway :)
