Most video cards manufactured today no longer have user installable memory add in cards.
The last card I saw this on was the ATI Rage series of the All In WOnder, Back in 1997.
You may have empty pads on your circuit board, but a solder station for repairing or adding components to a surface mount card range in the price range upwards or 1000 dollars.
Hmmmm....
Risk destroying your card, Card may have other hardware deficencies that would make adding soldered on chips not recognized...
Answer is most likely NO.
As for the link you provided, thats not going to give Video Memory to a card.
Not like a card that only has 16 meg and you want to make it 32 or 64 meg.

Not on nVidia based cards. Only ones I know of that you can still do that do is Matrox cards and some ATI OEM cards, neither of which are good for gaming anyways.
