Wow...that forum linked up there is a riot...well, a couple of responses anyways.
"You can't"
"NTFS doesn't like to be resized"
Nightowl...is this a server in production? Or a home rig? You can get server grade partitioning products, such as the server version of Partition Magic (which I've used on servers for clients before, I don't know what it's called now since Symantec bought them out, but it used to be called "ServerMagic".
Acronis makes a server grade version of their desktop product also.
Is this your system partition? Or extended partitions? You can work with native tools if you have them dynamic.

Its my home rig and its the boot partition with 2003 server on it and the C:\ is dynamic
That thread has solutions in it, read it all.
Cheapest way to go is to use a linux boot floppy or live cd.
http://mlf.linux.rulez.org/mlf/ezaz/ntfsresize.html
The widely used, highly reliable and even free Ntfsresize utility non-destructively resizes the NTFS filesystem of Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT4 and Windows Vista. All NTFS versions are supported, used by 32-bit and 64-bit Windows. No defragmentation is required prior to resizing. Ntfsresize is included in the ntfsprogs package, developed by the Linux-NTFS project. You don't need Linux installed to use it because there are several ways to run it, for example by booting one of the many Linux Live CD, DVD or USB sticks (they run straight from the boot media then RAM, not from the hard disk).
first, i should say that Partition Magic cannot support server 2003, if the boot volume is on a dynamic disk, you cannot enlarge it in disk management. moreover, there is no product that can resize dynamic disk directly at present. recently, I saw a post in techrepublic that someone has the same requirement, copy dynamic disk to basic disk and resize, it is said that this method is the safest way, you can check http://www.partition-tool.com/easeus-partition-manager/copy-dynamic-volume.htm

Partiton magic doesn't work on server 2003, I use partition magic alternative, it works well on my servers. I followed this tutorial http://www.partition-tool.com/resource/repartition-server.htm It even can enlarge the system partition without reboot.

This thread is from the year 2005, no need to try to correct statements made about disk management back then, as technology today has many more tools available.
