I'm cleaning up some drawings I downloaded from the web and want to get them printed but they are going to be approx 31x16 inches. I was just wondering where would be the best place to get these printed. They are only black and white so hopefully I'll save on a color "upcharge". Should I just go to a custom photo shop? For the record these are just schematic drawings of vintage Fender amplifiers so the detail is a little "mushy" to begin with.

I'd compare a custom photo shop and kinkos for price.

I always forget about Kinko's.

To update you... I went to the local Kinko's this morning and had it printed to the 31x16 size. Unfortunately their large format printers do not give you a solid "Black" color. It came out grey. I asked the girl how we get around that and the answer basically was $6 per square foot and they have to send it out to be done.

It wasn't total waste of time since I wanted to see how it looks at the current resolution printed in a large format. I was happy with the quality, just not the black/white contrasts. I've got a bit more to do to clean up the drawing and then I'll probably take it back and have them send it out. It should come to just under $40.

Millers Lab (www.millerslab.com) or (ach, I can't remember the other one...have to ask my wife as she uses them quite often and get back to you)--Not sure if you have to be a business owner, or do a minimum amount of business with them...but they produce pretty good quality prints for a reasonable amount
