Wonder if anyone can help.

I was playing with the config settings of my Belking router by browsing the IP address. I changed the setting on my router to be an access point - but then it kicked me off the config logon.

Now I can't get access to my my router config from either my PC or laptop. How can I get access or reset my router config so I'm operational again.

Any help much appreciated.

When you flipped it to access point mode...right underneath that radio button choice....is where you'd have specified the IP address and subnet of the IP of the access point. Do you remember what it had in there, or what you put in there?

Else.....you can hit the "reset" button on the back of the router..that returns it to factory defaults. BEFORE YOU DO THIS..make sure you know what settings you had on the router before...such as if you have DSL, you'll need to setup the router again for PPPoE and enter the user/pass. Or cable..if you did MAC spoofing, or whatever. Because hitting that reset button on the back to bring it to factory defaults...it'll be just as it was when you first took it out of the box.
