just wondering anything yet rosco? the service improved for a couple days, not by much, but did improve a little, and now once again its just totally unusable, for the last 2 nights there has been like no upload stream now and the connections here die every 5 minutes for about 5 minutes, its been nonstop for my friends and I, also after calling charter twice now and asking whats going on the one lady said she would email me back tuesday, never happend, and then the guy i talked to said hed call back friday, also never happend....im just gettin so tired of charters service

I called today.The good news is that they are upgarading the cable, around town. The bad news is that this is causing signal and speed problems for those customers who already have the service.Here is the number for the Wisconsin RCC and they can be contacted at 1-800-581-0081.
I did not have any of your info, so they were not able to provide information that dealt with your specicfic locality. But if you give then a call they may be able to help as well.

thanks rosco, seems a quite a bit better right now, i can actually load web pages before 3 a.m. now, pretty sweet.
and that number is the one i had called before but the 2 people i had talked to on there never got back to me.

Rosco,

Just thought I'd update you on the Smyrna area. They came out Tuesday and checked my signal strength. Even with the splitter the tech said I'm still getting a very strong signal.

I asked him about the routing issues, why does my 3rd hop always go to California, he had no clue, said that was on HSA's end. Any suggestions for who I should talk to about this.
