View Full Version : Sacraneto @home
has anyone had any problems this weeknd w/ sac's @home service. I have been down since friday evening at around 5:30 p.m. and I have not been back up since. I have contacted @home numerous times and I am just getting the runaround like we are experiencing slow to no connection, we will be back up soon, ummm ummm ummm ummmm. Yes one tech did say ummm umm ummm. Any suggestions?? Thank you for your time and effort.
Your problem seems to be an isolated one as apposed to the real Sac issues my connection if you want to call it that has not been down
as yours is, or were. How is it now is it back up? If it is still down, as painfull as it may be you will have to call for tech support to trouble shoot or send some one oout.

Well it is still down but I am usind a dial up isp as back up for right now. I have contacted techsupport numerous times this weekend and I get a different story from each of them. And to top it off they are telling me that I won't be able to get anyone out here till the 22nd. Which is just not acceptable. By the way what is a good cable modem to have??? thanks

I also live in Sacramento and my connection really sucks lately. I've seen ping times of over 800. All the latency issues seem to stem from a router in San Francisco (c1-se10-0.snfcca1.home.net) . Try a tracert and see if you get the same results.
Jerejo, I have a toshiba modem. Since my connection is horrible and I've never had another modem, I can't tell you if its a good one or not.
