Hey guys, I need help with standby mode and IRC please.

I'd like to know how I can keep my IRC running when i'm in Standby mode, I have cable. If anybody has an idea or knows where I can find the answer elsewhere, please gimme a reply :)

I disable power management and standby on every client that I have. Often lead to too many problems, especially standby, it's a joke.

In control panels power management, I set the role of the computer to always on. Never let it go into standby, at the most I'll let the monitor turn off after a hour or two of no use. Change when pushing the button to off, instead of standy, if you have that second advanced tab.

So you're saying I should completely disable standy?
