Fortigate 60

I have problems to connect DSL to fortigate 60 which using PPPoE.. I only started to configure at "SYSTEM">"NETWORK"> "WAN1" and then select "PPPoE", entered the 'username' and 'password'. Besides, i setup the DHCP and DNS on this fortigate. Of course, a CAT5 cable is connected between ADSL modem to "WAN1" port in Fortigate. But it doesn't work although my client machine obtain the internal IP address from DHCP, but it not able to access to internet. Appreciate you can help me on this as i know that some setup that i have missed up.

Haven't fiddled with a Fortigate in a long LONG time...I forget where to check, but on just about all routers, there will be a "status" section somewhere...where you can see if the WAN interface will obtain an IP address from the ISP.

Also, if you're not obtaining a WAN IP, should be a log area to check...see if there are any errors.

Has this DSL been tested with another router, so you know it's "live", and the PPPoE user/pass are good? And the DSL modem is functional?
