fast d/l sites and streaming video

just installed new driver for adsl modem. usually test such things at happypuppy.com, but i seem to be having trouble there tonite. any other sites that are as fast? how bout a streaming video site. thanks in advance

let the page download the Burst Bridge onto your computer. If your ADSL is really good you can watch the 1500Kbps stream without one drop or at least be able to do a 1000kbps stream if your connection is not as stellar. Is your upload capped?

Just wonted to add I get 2500kbps+downloads with a 3meg cap so they are prety fast Q-time movies or right click and save on HD.

yes capped at 256. went to site tried 1000, buffered twice. 750 was no problem. don't quite understand, when i go to sites and download large files like from 3dfxgamers.com, i get download speeds of 1240.
