I used your new tweak and it works great.
Pages load faster, and dl speeds seem to be better. Thnx http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

But I have a question? I removed your old tweaks from 252 and installed the new.
Was I sapost to load the new over the old or did I do it right
Thnx again.

If its win98 and you made the mistake of installing it before removing the old one first.. It should clean up all the old entry's without a problem its designed to install seemlesly...But like with any program unless your putting in a supliment you should uninstall first.

If you have a older cablenut program (2.5-.252) I suggest using the uninstall feature before using the new cablenut. Of course you don't have to cause the new one gets rid of all the nessacry entries.

Should I uninstall my @home patch I downloaded from this site or does it matter?
Not the @home software but the @home patch.
Also, is installing your patch over the speedguide patches alright? Thanks in advance.

Just to verify from a *completely* unrelated source -- it appears to me that the newest cablenut patch removes all the old entries before it applies the new ones.

However, just a side note: The "uninstall" function returns you to Windows default -- as opposed to returning you to where you were before you installed the patch. Right, cablenut?

Yep this is correct we just want to make absolutly sure there are no bugs. We've tested and tested but you never know..
The new program removes anything that mite conflict with it.. But because we would rather be safe with everyones registry.
Till its been out for awhile prefure you to uninstall the old setting's before installing the new one.
There will be an adjuster out soon so that the settings can be veiwed and adjusted if you feel the need.. Even this is more stable.
rmrucker have you figured out how to track post on speedguide yet.. Happy new year
