OMG, my friend has rogers cable internet but the problem is that they can't connect to MSN messenger! Why is this? thanks for anyhelp

I doubt that it's a Rogers issue. I have several friends with Rogers and MSN works just fine.
What error message are you receiving?
Periodically MSN is down for maintenance and can't be reached by anyone - not just Rogers.

No, its got nothing to do with the msn service, i checked the msn service and it said its running fine...it just dosn't connect, forgot the error....

There is no MSN "service", if you are referring to the messenger service then you can disable it, it has nothing to do with MSN Messenger.

Hooray for another missisaugan. there shouldn't be any problem as far as I know. I have rogers as well and it's working well.

try disabling any firewall software on the machine

I've had no problem with MSN messanger and rogers Internet! It's worked fine on my end!
