WordPerfect yes. Not sure about quattro pro.

I didn't know it would open WordPerfect files. Do they maintain their formatting?

Not always. Its definitly not perfect.
You have to have installed the converters when you installed Office, or you can add them by running the setup again and choosing a custom installation and allowing them all to be installed/run from your local drive.

There's a batch converter built in also, if you have large amounts of WP files you need to convert to word docs.
