DVD Ripping

Any suggestions on a dvd ripping tool I could use? It's strictly to just rip them onto my hard drive so I can watch them without the actual DVD. :D

Uhm, how do I play it? Is there a program that I can use that will convert the whole thing to an AVI file or MPEG?

you need a special media player, i like powerDVD, but for a free one you can use the videolan player, although your burner probably came with some type of player software.

or you can use AutoGordianKnot to make them Xvid or DivX format .avi files and use windows media player, plus the file size willl be much smaller.

Unless you can find a copy floating around...they busted him I believe right after DVD X-copy guy
