SB3100 crashes when attempting access/ping to it

Hey. When I go to http://192.168.100.1 it shows up but my internet goes down for as long as I am there. When I leave, there we go more internet. And also when I ping it. It crashes while its being pinged and works when stopeed. Is this a bug or a security feature? It's hard to tell. If its a bug did they fix it in a newer firmware? Any response would be great! :D

Sounds like a bad modem or your computer is the problem. Have you reinstalled windows from scratch in a while??

I don't think it could be the OS even. It does it on all computers. It said in status that it was shutting downstream traffic down on the latest status information. Maybe its security? :rolleyes:

I can go look at my Surfboards internal webpage whenever I want and it has no detrimental effect on my connection whatsoever. Get a new modem if it is a problem.
