my cable company is Chello. My max download is 35 kbps. Is there anyway to make it better ?

use the speedguide.net twekas or the tweaks at cablenut.com.. sorry to say but 35kbps is totaly slow for cable.

I also use chello and they FU**NG Suck.
I do get a download speed from 190kb/s (at best usually it's lower) and my webpages are also slow. I used all the patches on this site and came to the strange conclusion that the sguide_tweak_98_pppoe.zip patch gave the best download results although webpagespeed sucks.
So try the patches they might work.

35kbps doesn't sound right, converted to killo-bytes that would be 4.3KB/sec which is about the speed of 33.6 dial up modems, hahha

maybe you meant 35KB/sec which is still slow for cable, but it is faster then Dial up and ISDN at least....

56k is faster than that. u most be off. just install some pathces. i like cablenuts patch.

You've got a fast connection compared to my Casema Connection (Cable). I get at best 7 Kbytes/sec and usually it is under 2 Kbytes/sec or in bytes/sec. :mad:

I E-mailed my company (chello) and they told me it was "normal" (does this word exist in english ?)
Well i think it's not really fast but ...
