Hello everyone, i was wondering if anyone knew of a simple yet effective software firewall that can manage multiple internet connections on one computer? My computer has 3 seperate internet connections on 3 seperate ethernet cards plus a fourth gigabit nic for LAN access which is behind a hardware firewall, the computer is running windows server 2003 workstation. I have enabled the built-in windows firewall for the 3 direct internet connections but doing so makes the computer inaccesable to the rest of the network, the windows firewall is blocking all 4 connections even though i have it enabled for only 3.

Your best bet would be to take an old pc that likes runs 95 and install Smoothwall Express 2.0 (http://smoothwall.org/)
SmoothWall Express is an open source firewall distribution based on the GNU/Linux operating system. Linux is the ideal choice for security systems; it is well proven, secure, highly configurable and freely††† available as open source code. SmoothWall includes a hardened subset of the GNU/Linux operating system, so there is no separate OS to install. Designed for ease of use, SmoothWall is configured via a web-based GUI, and requires absolutely no knowledge of Linux to install or use.

that way its hardware not software. with software its eailyer to get by and hack. so trust me and go with Smoothwall (http://Smoothwall.org)

Your best option in this case is a hardware firewall sitting between your box and the internet. Port forward the ports for each IP that you need open.

Your second best option is to get your hands on either Sygate's or Tiny Software's firewall. They both can handle multiple IPs on one system, and IMHO are the two best options for someone in your situation.
