Does the @Home Speed Patch found on the SG site do anything besides change the "DefaultRcvWindow" setting?

If that's all it does, is there any reason to bother applying it since it appears that other tweaks/patches available here and elsewhere end up replacing that value anyways?

No, it doesnt do anything else other than set a bogus setting in the defaultrcvwindow.
