Ok.. I came here to make my connection faster. Instead my connection went alot slower after a few things I did with the optimizer and TuneUp Utilities 2004. I must be doing something wrong. Im getting lots of ping. Im not sure what connection Im using because I rent a room and connection already there when I move in. I don't want my connection faster now but I want it back to normal again. Im using boardband connection.
*Your connection took 31.391 second(s) to download a 500KB test file
*TCP options string = 020405780103030001010402
MTU = 1440
MTU is not fully optimized for broadband. Consider increasing your MTU to 1500 for better throughput.
MSS = 1400
MSS is not fully optimized for broadband (although it might work well for slower connections). Consider increasing your MTU value.
Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 21000
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 21000
RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
515200 (MSS x 46 * scale factor of 8)
257600 (MSS x 46 * scale factor of 4)
128800 (MSS x 46 * scale factor of 2)
64400 (MSS x 46)
bandwidth * delay product (Note this is not a speed test):
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 840 kbps (105 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 336 kbps (42 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = OFF
Time to live left = 113 hops
TTL value is ok.
Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 00000000 (0)
Please help. Im working online and I cant effort ping like this. If need other info pls post it and I will reply.
