Greets, I cant scan proxies [socks and http] behind my router [Linksys] for some strange reason. With AATools Multiproxy and a bunch of other proxy software. I set the router to forward the correct ports. I even did port triggering on the exe to allow all the ports and went so far as to put my computer in the DMZ. It only seems to work with a direct connection and a rulebase firewall so Im thinking its the router. [I have forwarded ports for other software that need it with no problems.] They all come up as dead or not working, the ones that come up as not working but have pings [This happens in Multiproxy it says not working for all the proxies but some have pings] I manually put in my browser settings and tested them with an online anonymous proxy scanner and they work. Ive tried just about every configuration with 127.0.0.1/my internal ip/my routers ip ect... When I configure 127.0.0.1 in my browser with port 8080, the conection back for checking anonymity is 8081 which I allow through the router. [Mutiproxy's correct settings] It dosent work but when I put the proxy directly in my browser it works no problem. Ive tested it on 4 other computers and they all have the same problem. I even went as far as to yell profanities at the router but it didnt seem to do anything. I might be suffering from router setting retardation but it dosent explain why I can get other software to work with port forwarding that need it. <--me
