View Full Version : Huawei Router
I'm having some problems with this router. I have 2 PCs, each one with it's own LAN IP. I've set an IP to my router too. Surfing is all right, the only problem is that i'm trying to configure a webserver on my PC. I've made an account at no-ip.com, but my no-ip address always try to open my router config's page (it shows up the router's login/password dialog)... This is very dangerous, since everyone will be able to access my configs, IF they find out these infos... How can i forward the incomming connections to my PC?
I've set up a lot of port-forwards to many ports: 80, 6346, 59, 5000, 6667, 6668, 6669, 1024, 113, 6881 and 6882.
In the router's config page, this forwarding is called "Inbound Servers". Also, there is a link called "Routing table", but I dunno what to do with this one...

I'm not familiar with that router, however you might try disabling WAN management, so that port 80 will punch through to your server instead of the management. Or change WAN management to https if it supports it. Or change it to an alternate port.
Assuming your ISP allows your services to be made public
Port forwarding, you can only port forward to 1x LAN IP address. You can take port 80 and forward to one LAN box and also forward it to another LAN box.

Well, this router seems to difficult this kind of operation...
I tried to configure the Router to redirect all port 80 and 1080 connections to my PC at 192.168.0.1, and configure apache to listen to ports 80 and 1080 at localhost, or 192.168.0.1... But when you try to connect via no-ip, if you use port 80, the Router's login dialog shows up, and if you try port 1080, you get an error telling that the connection could not be possible... You can try it: http://youkko.sytes.net. It will (try to) connect you using port 1080. If you want to check port 80, just right click on the page generated by this url and search for my IP on the code. There you can try the port 80 and others... I don't know what to do anymore...
