Impressed is the word......After reading up I was not looking forward to the setup and expected to have some problems.
NONE.....It took longer to plug it all up than it did to setup and get online. The best part it seems to be transparent to everything I normally use.....Quake, CUSEEME, Email, Browser.....I am on charter@home and I see no degredation in performance.....It gets a thumbs up from me!
Ya they can be good.. I use them here with my other machines.. Some of them work real well and some of them can be a real pain in the butt. You got lucky plus the price is right. real right $.

Speedguide has a great search engine (http://www.speedguide.net/cgi-bin/search.cgi?action=intro&default=2)
Only thing that sucks about it is you have to use a serial cable and hyperterminal to change some of the more adanced stuff. I would rather it all be web based.
I have had the the Netgear RT-314 for awile and it kicks ass!!!
