I got EarthLink DSL and a Linksys WRT54g router. How do I setup the router to allow the computers connected to it to use the internet also?

I already set up my router to connect to the internet, and my computer works fine. My computer can also access the 2nd computer, and visa-versa. But the second computer's internet does not work.

I tried setting up ICS, but is it possible with one nic? I set my network connection as my internet connection, but my network setup wizard cannot be completed.

So what do I have to do to share my dsl?

I want to have to use a proxy or w/e as my last resort. Thanks.

You don't need ics

power on modem wait then power on router
loging to your router and put in pppoe mode type your user name and password

Well, being that my dsl is working for one computer, I already did half of that. The other computer is already connected and set on the router, I can acesss it, and it can ping the router. The second computer acts as if no internet connection is found/present.

Computer 1 - Wired to router and working - Windows xp home sp2 w/ Kerio pf 2.1.5, works and pings everything.

Computer 2 - Wireless - Windows xp pro sp2 w/ kerio pf 2.1.5, pings computer 1, pings router, can share files, but cannot ping outside places.

the second computer uses no network cables.

I installed a nic on it, and tried connecting to the modem directly, but it still doesn't work, it remains in the 'trying to get an ip address' and then just connects with an error it might not be working.

I tried setting the ip to 192.168.0.1 and creating a PPPoE connection with windows, but it still didn't work.

that's the promblem on the second comptuer that modem probably has that ip of 192.168.0.1

Ip 192.168.1.2
subnet 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.1.1
dns goto start menu run type cmd type ipconfig /all on a computer that is connected to the net write down what it saids for dns server settings

on other computer
Ip 192.168.1.3
subnet 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.1.1
dns goto start menu run type cmd type ipconfig /all on a computer that is connected to the net write down what it saids for dns server settings
