Small home network, Peer to Peer

Hi all
Hope sombody can help me with a small problem that is driving me nuts.

I have two laptops and one printer, and I am trying to set up a home network Peer to Peer. I have a Ethernet switch in between the two laptops and the Printer is connected by USB to one laptop. I can access the net from the shared laptop but it will not print to the printer,

I am only just starting on my computer so I know nothing.

Can sombody please Help?

Have you enabled the printer to be shared across your network? If not go to:

Star -> Control Panel -> Printers and Faxes -> Right click on the Printer(s) you want to share -> Click Sharing -> Share this Printer

If you have already done then this might help:

Go onto your Client computer which is connected to your main one (Host), Go to My Network Places, View Workgroup Computers, Select the main Computer that the printer is attached to, Double click on the printer you want to install, it will come up with a notice asking you if you want to install the printer, click yes, you then should have your shared printer!
