I spent last night trying to sort out my girlfriend's parent's wireless network. They use AOL as their ISP and have a wireless router. The problem is with AOL only person can connect at a time, so when one person logs on to surf the web another computer gets disconnected from the AOL service. A quick Google search turned up an obvious solution: the router logs in to AOL and the client machines then use PPPoE to share the connection. The problem I'm having is this: when I try setting up a new PPPoE connection (Win XP) on the client machine it configures it using a "WAN Miniport", but I want it to use the wireless connection. Can anyone shed any light on this? I've managed to avoid AOL so far in my life, which is why I'm a bit clueless to it all
