Onto the SG game server that is!
Talked to Cat on the telephone a few minutes ago...(hi Cat!) and we have decided to wait until the morning to fire up the BF2 server.
A couple of reasons:
We want to avoid any shenanigans with EA. The de-listing killed our server and we don't want it fubared for any longer.
We want to wait and see if there are any last minute updates to the server as well as client patches...try to keep the install as clean as possible.
Still waiting to see if BF2CC is going to come out and give us full admin functionality.
So there you have it.;)
Some people do have the game already and are playing on some ranked servers. You're more than welcome to go there and get your game setup.
We'll have the server up as soon as we get the all clear signal.
