at&t raising rates in sacto

I was with Comcast last year and for the speeds you all get with the service thats not much to pay I now use dsl 384/1.5 with 3 ip's for $197. a month I would keep their modem too you buy your own and its on you to fix or replace it IMO

well, now we are at&t broadband, and i just got a deal in the mail saying my monthly internet will be around $45 a month, up from $39.95. $3 of that is they are upping the modem rental from $7 to $10.

should i keep paying the modem rental, or buy one, since they are starting to come down in price. i have seen the toshiba cable modem for around $160. thats still 16 months to pay for itself.

i hope they don't keep raising rates.

damn it, I hate AT&T. They once charged me $2.99 a min for a long distance called!!!
I live in sac too, but this is the second month of my first three month promotion of $20 a month.

They tore that crap out of me. I pay $50 a month, and I bought a $250 modem.
