I've spent hours reading tutorials and recommendations over at DVDHelper.com and doom9, and feel no closer to a clear idea on the best solution to burn XviD and DivX files to mpeg-2 compliant DVD's (so I can play them in my set-top box).
can anyone who is competent and has a regular procedure fill me in on the easiest and best methods they use, be it freeware or otherwise. I don't really care about menus and crap like that, I would just like to put some clips on a DVD for my mom to be able to easily watch.
TIA
