What game is it? Some older games do not allow multiple clients to play from the same IP address. Such as Quake 2 for example.

Is the router running the PPPoE for your DSL, or by chance are you still using software on your computer to log onto the PPPoE?
Firmware on the router up to date?

Can both workstations surf the net fine together at the same time?
Are you sure your router is the only device doing the PPPoE authentication, you're not signing in again using each workstation...such as WinXP's PPPoE support, or some 3rd party PPPoE software?
If you run a WINIPCFG on each workstation, do they get private IP addresses (such as 192.168.XXX.XXX)
Has each workstation been checked with a good updated antivirus program, and also ensured to be ad/spy/malware free with malware removal programs such as Adaware, Spybot S&D, Microsoft Antispy, etc?
Is each workstation pulling an IP from the routers DHCP service, or do they have a manually assigned LAN IP address?
What games are you playing? Are these older games?
