Hello,

I am newbie in wireless networknig. I am trying to install Belkin F5D7010 network on my laptop DELL Insiron 8000. I am using also Belkin router.

Problem: When I am installing driver either from sofware or website it seems that the card got installed and it says that the card has been installed and the signal is excellent and i am getting this green light on a card. But connection to internet failed and I can't connect to Internet. While I am installing the driver i am getting message that the driver is not compatible with Win XP (but manual from Belkin says proceed anyway!).
Plus after installation when I need to restart the computer it just hang up and I have to reinstall this Belkin card. Do you have to install any additional Drivers or change any settings? Please HELP!
Thank you!

you might want to try this site:

http://www.belkin.com/support/download.asp?download=F5D7010&lang=1&mode=

It's belkin's web support for your card's model, there is also a link that shows you how to bind the TCP/IP protocol within the cards settings.

I had belkin's 54g router, and I know the frustrastion your going through. I went threw 4 Belkins routers, before deciding to go with D LINK DI-624M with mimo.

BEST OF LUCK
:)
