I have D-LINK dsl200 modem. iam running 256k broadband with windows XP pro the modem is connected throught USB.
any tweaks availabe maybe portforwarding.

get rid of usb use network card and network cable

This modem doesnt support network card only USB i have to get a new one which other modem/router do you suggest which is good for tweaking etc.

And my ISP only supports D-Link

hmm i'm not sure but that's odd that your provider only supports dlink hmm take a tcpip analyzer test cut and paste everthing in a new reply i might be able to help you out more


with port forwarding do you play games or use p2p alot that's the only time that opening ports may speed you up??

Iam trying to make the tcpip analyizer work but it gives giving me this <! i even tried different browsers.
