Motherboards w/CPU available

I have some spare motherboards w/CPU available if anyone is interested.
Only guarentee is that they worked when I took them off line. Some I can't remember the cpu speed of, but will be 1MHz or above. Some will be Intel and others AMD.

Letting them go for $10.00 each to cover the cost of postage and handling. Whoever requests them I hope will put them to work folding, but I'm not making that a stipulation.

Think there are about 5 of them so if you want one PM me and the first 5 will get one.

Got one baby AT mb from MSI MS-6378 VER:3.

Also should mention that I probably don't have driver discs for these as I've been running Linux on them and drivers weren't required. But website for maker should have them available for download.

I have an Intel Celeron processor, 1.5GHz, that's been waiting for a new mobo so it can be added to the Folding Farm...

Of course I need more that $10.00 for this one. The memory sticks I just pair $20 each for, so I'd need at least $200.00 for this one.

does that mobo require eec memory ?
does it need a different power supply than your normal atx unit ?

It requires at least a 350W power supply with 3 different connectors to the motherboard. The regular 20 connector that the long white/clear bar, a white/clear 4 pin connector, and a black 6 pin connector.

It requires registered DDR 266 memory which as I don't have any other mb's that can use them, it has the 3 sticks of 256MB installed for 768MB.

I'm also leaving a ATI Radeon 9000 64M video card with the motherboard.

Right now I have 2 still available with another possibly next week.

1. PC Chips P4M266 PIII cpu (been a long time since I've fired this one up, but it was working when I turned it off) Can't remember what the speed of it is.

2. ECS 741GX-M Rev 1.0 AMD 1600+ (uses DDR RAM)

3. MSI MS-6378X-L AMD 1800+ (uses SDRAM) depending on what I find out about a cpu Monday this one may be available.

Nopes! Bite your tongue Sir! I acquired this one...got it back up and running just fine...but she is just too old and slow to be of any production as far as folding goes...it will not finish the unit it is working on now within the time frame allowed..:(....but I will still try to make her a folder...one way or another..:)

I know what you mean, I had one that just wasn't going to cut it, an AMD K6-2 @ 400MHz, so it was de-commissioned. I have a couple of P3's and a Celeron, which are okay at best, but the rest are solid AMD's, P4's and Xeons.
