Can someone help me? After waiting for over a month for a installer to show up, I finally got ahold of somethat that said I could do a self install if I knew anything about computers. I thought I did, but apparently not. I set everything up, installed the NIC on my computer, loaded all software provided with the card and the 5260 speedstream, got all green lights, tried to connect, and didn't have a password or user ID. I call SWM DSL and after waiting for over 30 minutes, they finally tell me the default ID and password.. which was the wrong ID anyway.. but I figured that out. So, now it says it is connect, but nothing is being sent back and forth. When I loook at the advanced tab on the ethernet300 icon, it say that the DNS are doing fine, but not the NDS.. It also says that it can't find the PPP or the NPNPOE, but they are there, and working fine according to the system. I still don't know what I am suppose to do after its connects. Where do I go to register my new ID? Is there a step by step guide on how to do everything after you connect? Did they send out information about all of this to customers who opted for self install from the beginning? Does anyone know if its posted anywhere? This is starting to drive me crazy!! Help!!

i have sbc internet. i was sent a information packet by sbc when my dsl was soon (heh, more like a month) to come. Im not an expert with computers, but i beleive i understand your problem. If im correct, you need to go to: https://secure.pacbell.net/
please note that i meant to put the https. im not 100% sure thats the right site, becasue (sbc being so smart and all) sent me the swbell site. So i swithed that part of the site, and i think thats how i did it before.
