Do these patches even really work?

I installed all of these patches on both my computers on my network and it didn't change speeds- http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/frown.gif look at what I'm stuck with: a 141 KB/ s download rate! How can I boost my DSL speed to these 500 KB/ s download rates I hear about? All my speed tests run 1.2 megs, I want more!

Use the default Patch for your os to remove them. Then try one at a time.Till you find the one that works right for you. In between each patch that dose not help use the default patchfor your default os.Plus remember to back up your reg first. You should only need one. Sounds Like you are over tweaked. Just try the one for your os.
