Real Player speed

This may be the first time this has came up on this board but I thought Real Player was suppose to move fast with a cable modem. But everytime to watch a channel on real player it will first say 721.7 kbs and then it will drop way freaking down to like 20.0 kbs and then go back up to 61.8 I am currently using the free version of real player 7 so could somone please help me

Real player sucks. From the sound of it, I think you need to contact them about your problems because it is most likely coming from their software.
