Here at school we have an evil little Sonic Wall. I'm not trying to do anything malicious to the school's network/computers, i just want to access some flash sites and some other things (discluding pornography). If you have any information on how to bypass Sonic Wall please respond. thankyou

:p what if i told u that i had the admin password and I had the occasional access to the admin's comp? I've tried logging in as admin but i dont see much as far as sonic wall, whatsoever. I presume that it would be ?installed? on the admin's comp (which is about 10 feet away from me right now) but I would just want to disable some certain blocks, so it wouldnt be very obvious. respond por favor. :p

Sorry slick, we don't support bypassing rules like that here, most of this site is made up of professionals in the IT field who build/support networks such as at schools or businesses.

Maybe instead of hijacking the admins computer you could talk to him over a cold beer. I've been known to give in if it involves beer.

ok, understandable StoneCat. Maybe i should go with the beer idea  haha. See the thing is that he even agrees(we're on relatively good terms) that some of the things about sonic wall are stupid, but i dont really think that he knows all that much about it... o well i guess ill have to keep flashflashrevolution to myself at home... lol thanks for the information.

edit-
Is sonic wall "installed" on the admin computer? or is it somehow associated with the router... Just for my info. thanks

It's a router/gateway device....but depending on the model, often more than "just a router". They are higher end firewalls with various options that you can enable if you've purchased those options. I've used them on some clients, very powerful units...I love them.
