router password/username???

I don't have no idea why its asking me for a username and password when I try to access it via web browser... Real problem is I don't have a clue what the username is or password LOL anyone have any suggestions??

What brand router? The default for most is username: admin password: password , some use admin as the username with a blank password, some use admin/admin. Try them all

username: <leave blank, empty, nothing>
password:admin

Many Netgear models
username:admin
password:1234 or 12345

When all else fails and you can't find the manual or quick install guide that came with it, hit up their website, support section, download the latest PDF manual.
