Okay, I run a website and here is my setup:
Win 2000 Server
XP Home Machine
Both go to the Linksys *41 model, then to the RR Business Class Zxel Modem and out to the Inet.
Only ports open are SMTP, POP and 80.
DHCP is off, no DMZ and nothing else. Nothing that could create that "10.102.192.1" Lan IP.
Here is what is strange. I figured maybe it's the router, and somehow it's making the "10.102.192.1" for some reason, so I go to the Linksys website, and see a firmware update to the current. I run it, reboot and all, and NOW, there are TWO hops with this "10.102.192.1" IP!
Reason I want them gone, is they are causing HIGH pings. We're talking 400-2000 pings. To where I cannot surf on my other home machine. lol. I scanned for virii, I scanned for spyware and all the typical things--I keep a darn tight server. Never use it unless I do updates to the forum software or Imail software.
Anyway, Here is a screenshot of the tracert:

These IP's are 1 and 2 hops from my machine, and say 'private', so it's on my end, and when I did the firmware, I KNEW for sure it was on my end. When I reset the router, it's fine for a few mins--ping wise, the IP's are still there, same for ISM--I turn the website off, and the pings go back to normal. (We have a BUSY forum). Anyway, I thought it might be a bandwidth problem, but I watched the transfer rates, and it's not peaking near our 512kbps upload limit.
Did google searches, found nothing for the IP "10.102.192.1", and this is starting to spook me. Any help? I've been going nuts on this problem for months now. (This started in Dec as far as I can tell). I can do tracerts from either machine, same high pings, same IP In there.
I figured this would be the best place to get some idea of what this is, and how to correct it. :)
Thanks all!
