Hi,

I might be staying in a hotel for about 1 month sometime soon.

I'm pretty sure I can't live without my computer (desktop) so I will likely bring it along.

Just wondering how secure my connection will be in the hotel. At home I just have my NAT router to protect me. When I'm connected at the hotel should I bring along my router or use a software firewall?

It'll probably be a Best Western hotel if that matters.

Thanks :thumb:

It all depends or preference really. I would (without a doubt) setup some type of firewall protection. I'm not sure if Best Westerns are wired or wireless but either way make sure you have at least some type of software firewall.
