Server news as of Feb 19th '05

Been working with UOD adding the EOD mod for BF:V to our server. EOD = Eve of Destruction.

You need Battlefield Vietnam installed and patched to the latest (currently 1.21)
And the EOD mod client for BF:V (currently 0.1)

Don't confuse it with the EOD mod for Battlefield 1942, that's a different one.

I also changed the map rotation on the Desert Combat server. I pulled out Docks, and any maps that were Day 2 and Day 3 versions.

Also regarding changes, I lowered some "rate" settings for the server, so she doesn't chew up as much bandwidth. We used to have it unlimited, but since we're on a 5 meg slice for the next couple of months, and sharing that with Zombie Battalion, I don't want to eat it all up and cause them lag. Our 5 meg cap is only for a couple of months, til his next phase kicks in. I lowered the max client connect from 256K to 128K, as well as dropped the max server bandwidth from unlimited to 2048K. DC was dropped to max players of 32, and the EOD server is only a 24 player max.

While I'm gone for this week, if any bad server issues happen, Faust SCSI Dude has full PcAnywhere access to the server.
