What is higkhi.exe? Google & SARC searches find nothing

Thankfully this is not on my computer lol....but I'm trying to help a coworker and all the usual stuff pulls up nothing on this .exe. So I'm stumped for once.

Do you think it could be a custom program of some sort that has not been fully released into the wild?

Never heard of it, if you can submit it to Jotti's Online Malware Scan (http://virusscan.jotti.org). Also a HijackThis log would be helpful to see where it's loading from.

Try a right click>properties>version tab on that file. It may give you the author, and possibly a different original name that will help.

Or opening it in a hex editor, may yield more info on the file.

He got rid of all the crap on his system before he ran hijack this...so now he has a clean slate. Oh well.
