What I see @Home doing next.

Unfortunately your bright Ideas and Insults has given @home just what they needed.

An Excuse to charge for different plans for high speed access, this from the top.

@Home will now be implementing a Fast , Faster , Fastest. Based Plans and unfortunately most Cable providers Contract states they mush abide.

I don't know what good will come with all of this , Probably none because of most the crap being posted with the Petition.

We have only pissed them off. :/

new isps and faster ways or data transfer are right around the corner, @home will be forced to provide good service or lower the rates :)

Your an old Schooler SG'er, registered way back in Aug. '99 you definatly remember the good ole times here on SG and the professionalism we had back then. It's the old timer SG'ers like you that have seen this Forum grow and expand and seen it through it's good and bad times. We hate to loose ya.

If I may ask what are your reasons for leaving?

As for the @Home deal, I've heard rumours of the service plan thing with @home but i've heard that rumour for years now, i've never seen it in action yet. For me cable has a monopoly in my area, and they know it, I have no choice besides slow IDSL or AT&T@Home cable internet, so there really is no choice for high speed internet, so no matter how much i complain there is nothing really i can do but live with the bad service.

New stuff, competition is always coming out, better things will be offered and when they do companies like AT&T and @Home either better shape up or ship out.

and I wonder if Shaw will split from @Home when this happens or stay..... Shaw already has teired services but the speeds for all of them are the same :D... just the ip address scheme is different for each of them.
