Well in London, the upload is 384kbps and I'm not sure what the d/l is or even if it is capped.

Right now London rogers@home my upload is 320kbps and down 1256kbps. It is getting too slow these days! I am scared to apply some of the tweaks experts are suggesting over here.

What tweak is easy to handle (without causing mess with my present set up) for my London rogers@home cable modem? I am not a computer expert and will appreciate if anyone who has Ontario-rogers@home cable service (it is getting terrible these days!) and using the tweak. Which tweak is that and give me the link, please.

Andrew,
Many thanks for the link. I have already downloaded the update patch for my Windows 98. I have backed up my registry. Before, I run the patch would you like to give any tips to avoid any potholes on the way (if any).

cable guy, I thought you were asking stooge to look at the speed surveys for his area(knowing that he doesn't have cable). In which case DSLreports only offers that info for US cities. But yes, anyone can us the speed test. In fact i have.
