Hi,

I need help whith this..

As you might know there is some internal setup parameters for surboard 3100 which can be reached through typing http://192.168.100.1 on your browser.

While playing with it i`ve resetted it with pressing `Reset All Defaults` button at configuration screen. (I was experiencing poor transfer rates,I think it might help :P)

After long init procedure it come back online and when I`ve entered same screen I`ve find out all previous customizable parameters are gone, only informations about their current state left instead. Such as enable DHCP check box or ip address or frequency plan (pal/ntsc stuff)settings now unavailable.

Any one knows what happend? Or How can I restore original setup?

By the way my Frequency Plan setting is now at PAL instead of original NTSC setup. And this seems to effect speed a bit. Any one Knows what excatly this setting is?

Thanks in advance

PAL is the French (and other coutnries) standard for tV channels. I'm suprised your modem works at all. I would try turning it and the computer off for an hour or so so that it is reinitialized by the head end.
