what is up with the @home mail server? It seems something goes wrong atleast several times a week. usually it lasts for a couple hours at a time.
anyone else experienced this?

Yeah thats happened to me too.
One thing about it, if you keep track of it and send them an email,they'll make it worth your time.
Go here http://www.athome.att.com/support and report the date and times of your outtage.

Depends on where you live. Currently, they have five mail servers / five RDCs (assuming you are with AT&T). They are upgrading soon but that is a pretty long process. Mail in the midwest recently has been having the most trouble.
Same BS here. I called @home last Friday and reported the slow email service. They said that maybe I was just spoiled from having such fast service in the past, what idiots! Then when I went online this weekend I had no problems with email, today after 4:00pm they slowed down again.......@home is starting to piss me off again. http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/frown.gif

I have been sending an email into support every time it goes down.
I just got a reply with a 10 dollar credit for this month.
