I recently turned on the NIS personal security and intrusion detection settings. Since then I am constantly getting messages saying that my computer is being attacked and intruded. I always respond by blocking the intrusion but I seem to keep getting these messages, several every ten minutes or so. Last night the NIS went crazy and said I had too many rules installed and it kept shutting off my computer so I had to uninstall and reinstall the NIS program. Is this normal or is there some setting that I need to change so I dont constantly get these messages and have to block them? It is so annoying to constantly get these messages that I think I'd rather deal with the adware and spyware. Thanks for any advice. And happy new year.
